The indoor mammal ward serves as the nursery for baby and juvenile mammals like squirrels before advancing to outdoor enclosures to prepare for release into the wild. Annual maintenance needs include deep cleaning, repairs to cages and screening, and replacement of specialized lighting.

Annual sponsorship will support annual maintenance costs and supporters will have their name or that of an honouree displayed for one year as well as receive a certificate displaying their support.
